Writing

I’ve been writing stories since as long as I can remember. It’s gotten harder the older I’ve gotten, and I’m not sure if that’s because the technology available now isn’t as friendly with my imagination, or if it’s because as a child I wasn’t afraid to put down whatever came to mind.

The goal of this page is to have a place to collect all my writing. I’ve written a lot more than what you see here, for sure, but these are the only things I’m comfortable letting other people read. And please keep in mind that more often than not, these won’t be polished pieces of literature.

Any story that is “finished” (or at least, completed for now) has it’s own tag and appears below.  You can search for anything else–unfinished or in-progress–by browsing the writing category.

    • Published piece by piece on the blog, this is a “choose your own adventure” story where you can effect the outcome by deciding which action the character (you) should take.  This particular one has finished, but there will likely be more in the future.

  • Excerpt from “If I Had My Way…”
    • I’m not ashamed to say (well, maybe a little) that I am endlessly fascinated by the dynamic between Cameron and John, so this is an excerpt from a much longer story I’ve been working on for a while. Now that the show has been canceled, I hope to finish it with a bit more freedom.
