…that if the situation were reversed and Chris Brown got the shit beat out of him by Rihanna, we’d all be wondering what Chris Brown did to deserve it.
Disclaimer: This in no way is meant to imply that Rihanna deserved it, I’m just using that as an example. I really don’t care to know the details of their personal lives. I just don’t like the double standard. Sure, “there’s no excuse for violence against women,” but can’t we just make that “there’s no excuse for violence?”
